Advantages:

Starts with 4 WPs and gains a new WP every odd level.
Can specialize in all unarmed combat styles.
Starts with 1 tattoo and gains a new tattoo every level.

Hindrances:

No weapons allowed
No armor allowed
No magical items allowed
Can only learn unarmed combat styles.

Tattooes:

Some tattooes have several ranks, and in order to take rank 2 of a tattoo, you must have rank 1 in the same tattoo first. All tattooes are cumulative, so a rank 4 Shield tattoo grants +12% MR/lvl.
